Or ... Someone who works for Goop once liked one of my Instagram photos.
"What's wrong with you," came the text from my friend Andrew, after I'd shared this momentous event with the world. "I thought it was generally understood that Gwyneth Paltrow was a ridiculous crazy person."
Below is a video of this friend's immediate reaction to me being excited about Goop (the lifestyle company Paltrow owns) liking my Instagram photo.
The event that started it all was the creation of fish tacos based on a recipe from Gwyneth's cookbook My Father's Daughter.
Guess what guys? My cookbook is AUTOGRAPHED. This is the autographed copy AND the envelope in which a note thanking me for my order was placed. It's kind of a big deal.
I have this thing for Goop/Gwyneth. You see, I like her. I like her expensive tank tops, her flat-ironed hair and her ex-boyfriends. I also like her tacos. They were delicious. I forgot to take a photo of them under construction, so here is a photo of the remnants of them.
I placed this very photo on Instagram and it was there the momentous occasion happened - Goop "liked" the picture.
And that, dear friends, is how I learned that Gwyneth Paltrow likes me ... or someone who operates the Goop account on Instagram does ... or someone who operates the Goop account on Instagram liked one of the pictures I took AT THE VERY LEAST.
